Full band show @ Rockwood - March 6 at 8 pm!

Hello There,

2012 rolls on. Thanks to all of you who came out to my last show with Brad Russell at Rockwood Music Hall. I'm happy to announce that Brad and I will be back at Rockwood along with Olivia Bloom and a drummer (name TBA) for a prime time slot on Tuesday, March 6 at 8:00 pm. Not to be missed!

New show at Rockwood Music Hall Announced!

Hey there. Hope 2012 is treating you well so far. Thanks to those who came out to Rockwood Music Hall last week!  For those of you who missed it (and for those of you who were there, too), I'm pleased to say that I'll be back on Wednesday, February 8 for a Happy Hour gig from 6 - 6:45 pm. I'll be joined by the amazing Brad Russell on upright bass for some acoustic rockin'. More details on the "shows" page.

And, I'm working on some exciting stuff for the first part of the year. Stay tuned for details!

Thanks for a great 2011!

It's been one of those eventful years, for sure. My first year of marriage, moving to New York, a great show in San Francisco in August, a song on the CW's 90210, a string of great shows in New York with a new ensemble - so much to be happy about! Thank you for your continued support this year and in years past. I'm looking forward to a great 2012.  Speaking of, to kick things off, I'll be back at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC on Thursday, January 5 at 6pm with Brad Russell on upright bass and Olivia Bloom on violin. Check out the "shows" page for more details. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a very Happy New Year to you all!

Joel on 90210 this Tuesday night, December 6!

Yes, I am not lying. While I will not be making a physical appearance, be sure to tune-in to the new episode of the CW's 90210 this Tuesday night, December 6, to hear the song "Molly" from my latest album Matador! Not exactly sure when or where it will be used, but I promise, it will be in there. 1 minute and 45 seconds of it, in fact!

As they say, check your local listings.

And, be sure to come pre-party with me the night before (Monday, December 5) at Rockwood Music Hall in Manhattan - I'll be doing a set with bassist extraordinaire Brad Russell at 6pm sharp. See the calendar page for more details.

Happy watching!

Back at Rockwood Music Hall - December 5!

Hey!

Thanks to everyone who came out to Rockwood Music Hall this past Tuesday to support myself and the Friselliian Swells! It was a great success and we hope to be back soon. Speaking of...

I'll be back at Rockwood for a special last minute engagement on Monday, December 5 at 6pm! I'll be joined by the amazing Brad Russell on upright bass. Come on out and reward yourself after a long Monday with a tasty beverage and some chill music at one of the coolest venues in NYC! Check out my calendar page for more details if you need them.

And stay tuned for some very exciting news coming soon!

Rockwood Music Hall - November 29

Thanks to everyone who came out to my first NYC full-band show at International Pop Overthrow NYC! It was a fantastic experience and a perfect way to be welcomed to my new hometown. Many thanks to David Bash for putting the whole thing on.

I'm very excited for the next gig taking place at Rockwood Music Hall on Tuesday, November 29 at 6pm. I'll be joined by Olivia Bloom on violin and vocals and Brad Russell on the upright bass. It's a whole new thing (and classy) thing - come check it out (for free) whilst sipping your wine (not for free).  Check out the calendar page for more details - see you there!

Thank You, San Francisco!

WOW, what a fantastic night at Cafe Du Nord on Saturday! Thanks so much, San Francisco! Special thanks to KC Turner, David Berkeley, Lauren O'Connell and my fantastic band, Jim, James, Jeff, Max and Matt. Stay tuned for some video footage.

Until we meet again...

Welcome to the new joelstreeter.com!

Hey there! In celebration of my upcoming full-band gig at Cafe du Nord in San Francisco, I've relaunched the website in a new and improved format. Hopefully this will help keep you all a bit more up-to-date on the things that I'm doing. Speaking of, as I've just mentioned, the band and I are reuniting on Saturday, August 20th at Cafe du Nord for a huge blow-out of a show put on by my friend and Bay Area music champion, KC Turner. We are really honored to be a part of the evening along with David Berkeley and Lauren O'Connell. You can find all the information you need on the calendar page, including a ticket link which I highly recommend using as A) tickets are going fast and B) it will save you a couple of bucks. Just to make things easier for you: CLICK HERE TO BUY TICKETS!

Also, in celebration of the new website, I've posted a never before released demo of a song called "Behind the Light" on the "audio" page. It was produced by my good friend and musical juggernaut, Rick McKay. I think you will like so go check it out!

I'll have the full line-up of Bay Area heavy hitters with me at Cafe du Nord. They truly are the best band around: Jim Bogios (of Counting Crows) on drums, James Deprato and Max Delaney on electric guitars, Matt Cunitz on keyboards, and Jeff Symonds on bass. Some videos of the last time we got together, last year at The Rickshaw Stop, are posted on the video page. See you at du Nord!
