Since the release of his first solo album, Hear Me Out, Joel Streeter has been a rising force in the Northern California music scene. Teaming with producer Jerry Becker (Pat Monahan of Train, The Bittersweets), Joel self-released Hear Me Out in 2006. Bay Area radio station KFOG took note of the album, placing the song “Stay Living” on their Local Scene - Volume 4 compilation, and playing the song frequently since the summer of 2007. Tracks from Hear Me Out were also featured in the 2008 season of PBS’s popular television program Roadtrip Nation.
The Joel Streeter Band has had the privilege of sharing bills with nationally well-known artists such as Phill Lesh (Phil Lesh and Friends, the Grateful Dead), Ian Ball (Gomez), Luce, Robinella and the CC String Band, Dan Vickery (The Counting Crows), Brad Brooks, Elliot Randall, The Bittersweets, and many others. Members of the Joel Streeter Band have also shared the stage with acts such as John Mayer, the Wailers, the Jerry Garcia Band, Duran Duran, Soulive and many more. Joel’s talent as a performer and songwriter make him poised to become a hit nation-wide. Scheduled to appear on the new album are a number of exciting new artists, including Jim Bogios (Counting Crows) and Max Delaney (Uncle Sammy). Stay tuned for the next album, due out in 2009!
